Feature development at Flip includes a total of four phases.
In the information phase, all information relating to the feature is collected first. This forms the basis for the subsequent assessment of the feature's potential, which is made by the product team together with other relevant areas. If a decision is made for a feature from this first phase to include it on the roadmap and thus to address it in the near future, it moves on to the next phase.
In the requirement phase, different stakeholders are given the opportunity to contribute their detailed requirements for the feature within a specified time frame. The resulting various solution approaches are validated with the help of user tests.
In the conception phase, the most suitable solution is selected, the design is finalized, and the development that takes place in the final phase is triggered.
