Loop

A Loop runs a set of steps once for each item in a list — most often, once for each member returned by a step like Get Channel Members or Get User Group Members.

Adding a Loop step

  1. Add a Loop step to your flow.
  2. Point it at a list from an earlier step (e.g. the members returned by Get Channel Members).
  3. Connect at least one real, actionable step inside the loop body — a message, task, webhook, or update.
  4. Connect the loop body to End of loop, which marks where it finishes and control returns to the next person in the list (or exits once everyone's been processed).

Good to know

  • A Loop needs at least one real step inside its body before it reaches End of loop — pointing a Loop straight at "End of loop" with nothing in between isn't valid, and the flow will flag it.
  • The loop tracks who's currently being processed via variables like loopIndex, loopTotal, and loopRecipientId, also visible as columns in the Data tab.
  • A common pairing is Schedule trigger → Get Channel Members → Loop — see Scheduler + Loop (broadcast) for that specific setup.
