These conditions apply to free testing (Version 1.0, 29.09.2026)
When using Flip Fusion during the free test phase, these special conditions apply:
- Free testing is not part of the agreed scope of services under your Flip contract. Your contract, including the Data Processing Agreement, continues to apply to it in full.
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs), availability guarantees, and warranty do not apply to free test usage
- Flip can adjust or discontinue free test access at any time
- The test phase is actively developed; improvements are rolled out continuously
- Generated applications are AI-generated and should always be reviewed before production use
Data Protection & Security – What you need to know for testing
These conditions apply specifically to free test usage. Production usage (with a paid contract) may have different terms.
Please read these points carefully before activation.
No AI Training
Neither Flip nor the model provider uses your inputs or outputs to train AI models. Microsoft excludes this contractually for prompts and outputs, which includes generated code.
Retention
Chat histories, builder states and Fusion log data are deleted or anonymised no later than 12 months after collection. Generated source code is deleted when your tenant is deleted. On deletion of a session the associated repository project is permanently deleted after 30 days. Microsoft may retain inputs and outputs flagged by its abuse detection for up to 30 days, stored within the EU.
AI Computation
AI computations do not run exclusively within the EU. Data at rest stays in the region of your Flip hosting, which is within the EU for EU-hosted customers.
Data Usage by Fusion
Flip Fusion reads directory and content data from your tenant to resolve references in generated applications. This is necessary for the tool to function.
Web & Image Search
When you use web or image search in Fusion, derived search terms are sent to external services. These services may operate outside the EU.
Images are not copied by Flip. They are embedded by URL and loaded directly by the device of whoever opens the generated application, so the image service sees that device's connection data. Flip is not involved in that step, which means this transfer sits with you as controller and should be covered by your own privacy notice.
Source Code Repository
Generated source code is stored in a repository outside the EU (GitLab Inc., USA). This repository may contain resolved data from your tenant.
GitLab Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and meets data transfer requirements under EU Adequacy Decision 2023/1795.
Your Right to Object: You can object within 14 days of receiving this information, on material grounds. The repository is essential to operating Flip Fusion during the test phase and cannot be disabled separately. An objection would mean we cannot provide Fusion to you during the free test phase.
Roadmap & Improvements
We are actively working to improve these conditions. Improvements are rolled out continuously and communicated with product updates.
If any of these test-phase terms change to your disadvantage, we will notify you in advance.
Your existing Data Processing Agreement and all other contracts remain in full effect.
Important Instructions for Your System Administrators
Your administrator must follow these points:
- No Personal Data
Do not enter names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any other personal information into Fusion input fields. This keeps the amount of personal data processed to a minimum. - No Production Use
Generated applications should only be used for testing and evaluation purposes. Do not use them in production while the tool is in development. - No Credentials or API Keys
Never enter passwords, access tokens, or API keys in the Fusion chat. These are transmitted to the underlying language model and are no longer secure.
