Status:

today = refers to the current status of the data, which is the current day (today). The data shows the most recent update available (reloaded daily around 4AM CET).

AskAI Metric Definitions

AI Enabled Users = Number of unique users who have access to the AskAI feature within the selected user group on a given day. Access is determined either by the user's tenant configuration or by explicit feature enablement on the user group level.

MAU (Monthly Active AskAI Users) = Number of unique users who sent at least one AskAI message within the last 30 days, as of the last existing day of each month.

WAU (Weekly Active AskAI Users) = Number of unique users who sent at least one AskAI message within the last 7 days, as of the last existing day of each month.

DAU (Daily Active AskAI Users) = Number of unique users who sent at least one AskAI message on the given day.

AI Sessions Started (last week) = Total number of new AskAI conversations started within the last full calendar week (Monday-Sunday), broken down by weekday. A session is counted as started when the first message of a new chat is sent.

AI Messages Sent (last week) = Total number of AskAI messages sent within the last full calendar week (Monday-Sunday), broken down by weekday. Includes all messages sent in both new and ongoing conversations.

Avg. Messages per Chat = Average number of messages sent per AskAI conversation per month. Computed as total messages divided by total distinct conversations within the month. A higher value indicates deeper engagement with the AskAI feature.

Avg. Time Between Follow-ups = Average time in minutes between consecutive AskAI messages sent by the same user. Capped at 10 hours per interval to exclude cases where a user returns to a conversation after a long break. Only intervals between messages are counted. The first message of a session has no preceding message and is excluded.

Filter Definitions

Filter by User Group = Filters the dashboard to show only data for the selected User Group(s). Only the members of the selected groups are included, subgroups and their members are not considered. By default, all User Groups for which you have OWNER permission are available.

Select Group Path = Filters by User Group using the full hierarchy path instead of the group name. Useful when multiple User Groups across different hierarchies share the same name, as it allows you to select the exact group you are looking for.

User Platform = Filters by the platform each user primarily used the app on in the last 30 days. The platform is determined based on mobile and desktop activity events recorded in that period. Users with no recorded device activity in the last 30 days are shown under No recent device activity (30d).

💡 USER GROUP CALCULATION NOTE

Each user is counted only once per metric regardless of how many user groups they belong to. The user group filter applies to all AskAI metrics.

FAQ: Dashboard & KPIs

Can I view other numbers that are not available in the dashboard?
Currently, we are only providing the insights you can find in your Admin Console. However, we are working hard to provide you with even more insights in the future. If you have any questions, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Which timeframe is applied to the charts that are not filterable?
For the charts that cannot be filtered, the time period is indicated either in the name of the chart or in the info text (opens when you hover over the grey information symbol next to the title).

Why is "AI Sessions Started" different from "AI Messages Sent"?
A session (chat) can contain multiple messages. "Sessions Started" counts distinct conversations, while "Messages Sent" counts every individual message within those conversations. The ratio between the two reflects how deeply users engage within a single conversation.

Why is the average time between follow-ups capped at 10 hours?
Without a cap, users who open a conversation, send a message, and return after three days would create very large intervals that distort the average. The 10-hour cap excludes these cross-session gaps so the metric reflects in-session follow-up behaviour only.
