Activate Menu Item — Option A: User Groups

If your employee app creates menu items based on user groups, proceed as follows:

1. Open the Admin Console in the Employee App.
2. Click on Content → Menu Items (User Groups).
3. Find and edit the menu item ‘WC 2026 Predictor’
4. Appearance: Use the existing icon or upload your own image (for a suggested image, see the section “Recommended menu item design”).
5. The name of the menu item can also be customised here, if desired.
6. The display options should already be set correctly:
   1. Mobile: “Within the app (with Flip Bridge)”.
   2. Desktop: “Within the app (iFrame)”.
7. Visibility: User groups → All users or select the desired user group.
8. Set the “Create as active” option.
9. Save changes.

Activate Menu Item — Option B: Channels

If your employee app delivers menu items via channels, proceed as follows:

1. Open the Admin Console in the Employee App.
2. Click on Content → Menu items (Channels).
3. Find and edit the menu item ‘WC 2026 Predictor’
4. Appearance: Use the existing icon or upload your own image (for a suggested image, see the section “Recommended menu item design”).
5. The name of the menu item can also be customised here, if desired.
6. The display options should already be set correctly:
   1. Mobile: “Within the app (with Flip Bridge)”.
   2. Desktop: “Within the app (iFrame)”.
7. Visibility (at the top next to Settings) → select Edit and enable all users.
   1. Alternatively: Assign channels if only some of the participants are to take part.
8. Save changes.

Recommended Menu item Design

For a uniform look in your employee app, we recommend a football icon in your company’s corporate design. This integrates the predictor game neatly into your existing menu structure.

• Recommended format: PNG

• Recommended size: at least 256 × 256 px (for sharp display on mobile and desktop).

• Suggested image from Flip: At the end of this article are some pre-made icons you can download and use.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Does Flip create the menu item icon (football in corporate design) for us?

  You create the menu item yourself and receive the link to the predictor game from us. A suggested image for download can be found in this Help Doc.

• How does the evaluation of predictions work – is there an admin export, e.g. for awarding prizes?

  The table can be viewed live in the app at any time. The evaluation is based on the official FIFA results and is updated as quickly as possible. A separate admin export is not planned.

• How long does the menu item remain visible after the World Cup ends?

  You decide this yourself. There is no automatic deactivation and no specification from Flip. You remove the menu item from the app at a time of your choosing.

• Are there countdowns (e.g. "3 days until the start") – customisable or as a template from Flip?

  We recommend working with Flip Flows or Newsfeed posts here. Freely customisable according to your wishes.

• Can we test the predictor game internally in advance before it goes live for everyone?

  Yes. Since you create the menu item yourself, you can determine a small group of participants via user group or channel assignment who test the predictor game in advance. Afterwards, you extend visibility to all employees.

• Can every employee create a league independently – without admin rights?

  Yes. Every player can create their own leagues and invite colleagues via a league code. A central admin right is not necessary and cannot be set.

• Do you use the same predictions in the global game and the private league – or are separate predictions per league possible?

  Predictions are always globally valid. Your predictions automatically count in every league you are a member of. Separate predictions per league are not possible.
