For the purposes of awarding points, the result after normal time (+ any extra time) is taken into account.
Goals scored in a subsequent penalty shoot-out are not taken into account.
So, if the score is 1–1 after 120 minutes but 5–4 after the penalty shoot-out, the final score used for the standings is 1–1.

If two players have the same number of points, the following criteria will also be included in the ranking calculation:

  1. Most exact scores
  2. Most correct results
  3. Goal difference (the difference between predicted and actual results, sorted by the smallest difference)
  4. Number of predictions (matches + boosts)

Where can I place my predictions?

Under Matches you will find three tabs:

  • Today for the upcoming matches
  • Groups for all group stages
  • KO for the final rounds

Predicting the group stage

  1. In the Groups tab, select the group at the top right (A–H, plus group X for free bets).
  2. Enter your prediction using the + / − buttons — home team on the left, away team on the right.
  3. Tap Save. Your prediction will appear as a blue bar below.
  4. Want to change your prediction? You can do so at any time until 30 minutes before kick-off.

Predicting the knockout rounds

Under KO you predict the games from the round of 32 onwards. Once the group stage is underway, the teams will be automatically filled in — where placeholders still appear (TBD), you can still predict a score; the teams will be decided later.

Boost! – Special bets

In the Boost! tab you can place bets on special tournament prizes: World Champion, Golden Boot (top scorer), Golden Glove (best goalkeeper), and Golden Ball (best player).

Create or join a league

In the Leagues tab, any user can create their own league or join existing leagues.

  1. Tap + Create at the top to create a new league (e.g. "Sales Team").
  2. Or tap Join and enter the league code sent to you by a colleague.
  3. Every player automatically sees the global league All Players of their own company.
