To upload videos and images in the right format, we'll show you some sizing and aspect ratios in this article. This will help you to optimize the visual appearance of your post.
The following specifications are only recommendations from us. Other sizes and aspect ratios are of course not excluded. If an image does not correspond to one of the recommended formats, the closest format will be chosen and the cropping adjusted to height or width.
File size
Generally, PNGs up to 20 MB promise the best quality.
All formats (except .gif and .svg) are always converted to JPEG after upload. For images over 20 MB, this can lead to reduced quality.

Post - Two or more images
For a post with two or more images, an aspect ratio of 1:1 and sizes of 2160 x 2160 px or 1080 x 1080 px are ideal, with a minimum size of 582 x 582 px.
Post - Image in text
Images that are to be integrated into the text of an article should have an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3.
The sizes 3840 x 2160 px or 1920 x 1080 px are ideal, the minimum size should be 1168 x 658 px.
Post - Video
Video posts are possible as .mov, .mp4 and .avi file format.
The maximum size of the video must not exceed 1 GB (long upload time). Basically, the smaller the video the better for the users.

Profile picture & group picture
The optimal aspect ratio for your profile picture or a picture for a chat or post group is square and has a size of 1080 x 1080 px, at least it should have a size of 240 x 240 px.
