Analytics – Knowledge base

Use the tabs below to view definitions for Channels and User groups.

  • Channels

The displayed statistics provide insights into the creation, usage, and performance of articles within your Knowledge Base. They help identify which content is most relevant to users and how actively the knowledge transfer is being maintained.

Channels are used as the primary selection option as long as the transition to user groups is pending or if segmentation is required specifically at the channel level.

    Key Metrics (Overview)

Created Pages = Total number of all pages created (includes both published pages and drafts).

Drafted Pages = Number of pages currently in draft status that are not yet visible to users.

Published Pages = Number of pages currently live and accessible to the respective user groups.

Page Views last month= Total sum of all views across all published articles in the last month

Published Pages with Banner Image = Number of published pages that use a cover image (banner) for visual support.

    Page Performance (Table Details)

This table lists specific metrics for each individual page:

Title = The name or headline of the Knowledge Base page.

Creation Date = The date on which the page was originally created.

    # Views = Number of views for this specific page.

    # Words on Page = The amount of text on the page (word count). This helps analyze whether users prefer short snippets or detailed instructions.

    # Translated Languages = Indicates how many languages the page has been translated into (if the multi-language feature is used).

    # Attachment Downloads = Number of clicks on attached documents (e.g., PDFs or checklists) within the page.

Is banner image set = Indicates whether a banner image has been assigned to this page (yes/no).

    Interaction Analysis

Pages Interactions Heatmap = A visual representation of user activity. It shows the days of the week and the times of day when the most access to the Knowledge Base occurs. The darker/more intense the color of the field, the higher the interaction volume during that period. All interactions are recorded in the CET time zone.

  • User Groups

User groups serve to map the company’s organizational structure and allow for granular access control within Analytics once the system transition has been completed.
