Anonymous flows allow you to create flows that collect data anonymously. These flows are a great way to create flows such as:
-
Anonymous Q&A (think leadership Q&A, town halls questions etc.)
-
Whistleblowing
-
Anonymous feedback
How it works
When you create a flow from scratch or from a template, you will be asked to name your flow. You will then see a tick box below the title, asking if you would like to make your flow anonymous. If yes, then tick the box and click the "Create flow" button:
From then on, the flow will only collect information via attributes that don't contain personally identifiable information such as name, email or user ID.
When building your flow, we recommend making it clear in the messages that the flow won't collect any user's personal identifiable information. This will enforce confidence in them that they can use the flow without the worry of being identified.
When viewing your flows on your platform homepage, anonymous flows will have this orange logo in the top right to help you identify that they are anonymous:
Things to note
1) You cannot change an anonymous flow back to a normal flow, so please make sure you are happy with making your flow anonymous when creating it.
2) Download data for anonymous flows is limited to the flow owner only. Unlike regular flows, it is not possible to share access to the data download page with other flow editors in your team.
