This function is only available in our mobile app.
As an additional security measure, you can use app lock for Employee App on your phone. When turned on, you'll have to use your fingerprint or facial recognition to unlock the app.
To use this feature, you'll need to set up biometrics such as fingerprint or facial recognition in your phone's settings.
Tun on app lock
- Navigate to the Menu item.
- Click on your profile picture.
- Click on App lock.
- Turn on Unlock with Biometric.
- Touch the fingerprint sensor or scan your face to confirm.
- Optionally, you can tap to select the amount of time before fingerprint authentication is prompted.
Tun off App lock
- Navigate to the menu item Menu.
- Click on your profile picture.
- Click on App lock.
- Switch off Unlock with biometric.
Note:
- If your company enforces the app lock, you cannot deactivate it.
- App lock is only available on Android devices with a fingerprint sensor running Android 6.0+ that support the Google fingerprint API.
- Facial recognition is only available on Android and iOS devices with a face scanner.
- This feature isn't supported on the Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, or Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
- The face and fingerprint authentication takes place entirely on your device. By design, Flip can't access the biometric information stored by your device's operating system.
- If fingerprint or facial authentication fails, you can unlock the Employee-App using your device PIN.
