To provide app updates quickly and easily, you need an App Store Connect API token. This token allows Flip to automatically publish and update your app in the Apple App Store.

Create an App Store Connect API token

Prerequisite

You are the account holder in the App Store Connect account. The first time you create an API token for this App Store Connect account, you must be the account holder. After that, an admin can create the API key.

Create Connect API token

1. Go to the App Store Connect page and log in with your access data.
2. Click on the navigation point User and Access.
3. Click on Integrations -> Team Keys in the tab navigation.
4. If you do not have api keys yet, click on Request Access.
   
   1. Confirm the checkbox and click on Submit.
   2. Then click on the Generate API Key button
5. If you already have API keys, click on the plus icon.
6. Enter the name Flip Employee-App.
7. Select the App Manager role in the drop-down access.
8. Click on Generate.
9. You will now see the API key with the name Flip Employee-App in the table.
10. Click on the Download button on the right-hand side.
    • The .p8 file with the private key is only available for download once. But as an account holder or admin, you can generate a new .p8 file with a new API token at any time.
11. Save the .p8 file containing the private key to your computer. This file must be sent to Flip in the next step.
12. Copy the Key ID from the table and the Issuer ID above the table.
13. Send the following information to the e-mail address provided by Flip:
    1. Key ID
    2. Issuer ID
    3. The p8 file
